FREMONT ORTHODONTIST POLICIES

At Patricia Choi Orthodontics in Fremont, CA, we're committed to having a long lasting relationship with our patients. We want to be upfront about what you can expect from us and what we expect from our patients. We want to be clear, flexible and transparent with how we like to do things at our practice.

Commitment to Customized Care

Dr. Choi gives her highest commitment to each individual patient. Each treatment plan is personalized to the patient’s distinct needs and desires for the most beautiful smile. At the pre-treatment consultation, Dr. Choi will carefully review all the orthodontic records (ie. Affordable Payment Options

We offer a variety of affordable and flexible payment options (including a no-interest, monthly payment plan) designed to suit different budgets. Cost of treatment is based on severity of the patient’s problem and the complexity of treatment. Orthodontic fees and payment options will be presented at the initial exam appointment. Your initial exam visit is a complimentary NO Fee visit.

  • If payment is made in full at the onset of treatment, we offer a fee discount. (If you have insurance, we will offer a discount for payment of your portion of the fee that will not be covered by your insurance benefit.)

  • Convenient and flexible payment plans in which we request a down payment when treatment begins. The remainder is divided into monthly payment for the duration of treatment. These are interest-free payment plans

  • Orthodontic Fee Plan: No down payment monthly payment option

  • For your convenience, we accept payment by VISA, Mastercard, and American Express.

Insurance

Insurance coverage will be confirmed upon arrival at the office to help you determine available benefits. Assignment of benefits to us is available in most instances as long as we have all the pertinent information, and we will bill your company as a courtesy to you. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.

Regular Appointments

The appointment for initial appliance placement (braces, expanders, etc.) usually takes 50-90 minutes. You will then see us at regular intervals 6-10 weeks apart for adjustments (which usually takes 20-40 minutes). We schedule longer appointments in the morning and shorter appointments after school. Dr. Choi can spend more time with each patient during the initial appliance placements in the mornings. By doing this, we do not reserve an entire afternoon for one or two patients but rather accommodate as many families as possible for after-school appointments. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. It can be difficult to reschedule immediatedly since appointments are made 4-8 weeks in advance.
